Also, the JHU Student Health & Wellness Center's phone number is 410-516-8270 (after hours students can call security at 6-7777 to page the doctor that is on call 24hrs/day, a prescription can be phoned into a local pharmacy). Students are also able to obtain a pre-prescription for emergency contraception from the health center - this is becoming a more popular occurence on college campuses so that students are able to have a prescription on-hand incase the need arises for it late at night/on the weekend. The sooner it's taken the more effective it is at preventing pregnancy.
